Activating any product in the
Fastfind range
5 Easy Steps
Operating a Fastfind PLB could not be easier. The example below shows the Fastfind Plus GPS PLB being activated. It is exactly the same process with any unit in the Fastfind family of PLBs.
1. Take the Fastfind out of it's velcro pouch, making sure the lanyard is secured to either you, or your liferaft
2. Open the yellow top cover. It may snap off, but don't worry, you haven't broken anything!
3. Peel back, then pull the red tab to uncover the "ON" button. Standby, the antenna will uncoil at this stage.
4. Press and hold the "ON" button
5. Position the Fastfind so that it is not obstructed from it's view of the sky. Position it high-up in a liferaft, not on the floor among several sets of legs!
SIMPLE !!
